Creative Wedding and Couples photographers Glasgow
At the beginning of October in 2014 I attended my first ever photography workshop! I had always wanted to sign up for a Photography Farm workshop but I never had the available time. I jumped on the opportunity when this Advanced Elements course came up. I had the time and the course load was just what I was looking for.
Day 1 was with Adam Bronkhorst learning about off camera flash… which I have to say was an eye opening experience. I went from dreading flash to actually loving it! so thanks for those tools Adam. I learnt some pretty amazing tricks which I have already been applying and I’ve been getting more adventurous with every wedding.
Day 2 all of us farmers headed of to Zoe Campbell’s gorgeous home in the countryside (thanks for putting all of us up for the day!). Lisa Devlin talked to us about branding, attracting clients, marketing tools… and much more. Armed with my notepad and pen I took in some great info, tips and tricks which I have already been implementing and will keep on doing so to better myself to get those awesome weddings in. Lisa also organised an amazing styled shoot which had us all trekking about the beautiful campsie fells taking photos. The amazing Linzie Russo and her husband John were our models. Linzie got all done up and ready by Caroline McKeirnan, she wore a beautiful dress by Jo from Couture Company accompanied by a stunning floral bouquet by Emma from Stems. Linzie and her husband and 2 gorgeous children have emigrated to Australia so these photos and the photos from all the other farmers will be such a fab way for them to remember Scotland and it’s beauty. Thanks so much for modeling for us, braving the cold wind and rocking it despite that! but most of all thanks for giving us that extra element to the shoot which was knowing that these shots will hold a special place and moment in time from a special and significant time in your lives.

Back in November of 2014 it was Scott’s turn to participate in a Photography farm workshop! He set off for Belfast for a few days and learnt lots of awesome stuff!
Day one was all about flash with the king of flash himself Adam Bronkhorst from Viva Wedding Photography. I had done the off camera flash workshop back in October so combining our new found tips and tricks shall be awesome!
On Day 2 Lisa Devlin hosted a workshop alongside the talented Paula O’Hara. The main focus was to approach anything that has to do with our business with creativity. There was also a lot of great info shared about attracting the clients we want and some great SEO tips! As always there was a couples shoot…and the talented twosome behind The Lou’s modeled.
Here are some of my favorite shots taken by Scott!
