We love doing engagement shoots in Glasgow. It’s such a fab city with beautiful parks and Roukenglen is certainly one of them! Also one of our favourites since this is where I proposed to Scott! Wee tidbit about us!

In Scotland and especially Glasgow you can never really plan the weather during any location shoot or wedding but you can get lucky and wow did we ever get lucky for Cat & Steven’s engagement shoot inRoukenglen park! Autumn time does have the most beautiful light, teamed with the crisp air it can be absolutely breathtaking. On a rare Sunday day off  we timed our shoot for the golden hour and what an amazing one it was…the light was so incredibly beautiful and especially with the bright colours still hanging around. In addition to this light at the end of the shoot we also got mist!!! yes Mist! This park is also very close to my heart. I used to live just around the corner from here in the south side of Glasgow and for quite a few years. I am so surprised that this is our first pre-wedding shoot in the park. I must make a point of using it more often as it is absolutely beautiful and perfect for photo shoots. Had such a blast taking some edgy shots of these 2!!
