Our 3rd wedding of the year took us yet again to the shores of Loch Lomond. Maxine and Paul met Scott at a wedding show a few years ago and I guess Scott’s charm clinched the deal as they booked us for their wedding day and we could not have been any happier. Such a lovely and genuine couple along with an equally fantastic family! We have had such a lovely time over the years getting to know them and catching up during their engagement shoot which you can check out here!
The weather this spring has not been all that great but luckily both of our April weddings landed some lovely sunshine which was so incredibly happy about! Even the little bit of rain on their day looked gorgeous. Preps took place in their home time of Balloch near Duck Bay Marina where the wedding was taking place so everything was nice and local. As always Scott goes with the lads and I stay with the girls and travel with them or family members to the ceremony. This way we get a lot more coverage. Everything just flowed smoothly and am sure this made Maxine very happy as she was one organised bride!! Props to them as well for making their wedding an unplugged ceremony which means that there were no i phones or i pads in sight which allowed guests to properly enjoy it and also meant that our photos were not ruined by distracting elements or guests trying to get a photo. Yes that may come across a bit harsh but it’s the truth. Take a peek at this article if you are considering an Unplugged Ceremony.
Really had such an incredible day photographing this wedding and I hope you all enjoy looking through some of my favourites taken on the day.
