This gorgeous and romantic army wedding on Loch Lomond was planned in just 6 month’s! I would have never known as it was just so perfect and relaxed! The sun even came out to shine down on Katie and Paul. It really was perfect for them. I can’t even imagine how tough it would be to be apart from your loved one due to work commitments. Paul was away for most of the planning process. It showed in his face that their day was everything he had hoped for and the fact that his wife had planned it for the two of them made him look incredibly proud.
Katie and Paul did not have the chance to opt in for an engagement shoot but for these two it did not even matter in the least. Just being together lit them up in a way which inspired me so much. The photos are pure and simple and all them. We did not even suggest or gently sway the direction of the photos. They were simply happy to take in the moment, the day and ride along with it and the joy and love is visible in every single photo taken on the day.
On top of the day being so emotionally packed ( I cried at the ceremony ), they also had a HELP FOR HEROES theme. This is a massive tick in my book as I am a huge supporter of doing as much as you can for charities. The best man wore a help for heroes tartan, Katie wore the wrist band attached to her dress and they donated to the charity instead of giving out favours. I feel there is a thoughtful running theme with our clients which makes me relate to them even more.
I shall leave you with the photos…enjoy! x

“Elaine at Wedding Wise offered a really personal service and knew what she was talking about. She offered advice and was supportive, the fact I was trying to get a dress and bridesmaid dresses within 5 months was no trouble.”
“Chantal and Scott (our photographers) – for them nothing was too much trouble, their service was so personal and they were so enthusiastic about the day. No query was too daft and everything we asked for was accommodated. I loved being able to see the photographs of Paul and his family getting ready as I had obviously missed all of that part. They were so quick at getting our online album with all our pictures up on it!”
