So incredibly excited to share this BEAUT of an autumn’s day wedding at Loch Green House Hotel! Nothing beats a warm and sunny day in autumn and it was nothing short but perfect for Laura and David. These two had only just moved back home from Australia so it definitely was a gamble weather wise for their Scottish wedding which they won. The day started off misty and as the mist cleared the sun started to shine. It was absolutely perfect weather for Laura and David to enjoy the drive to the reception venue in their amazing orange MGB convertible car hired from wedding and Classic Cars! The car went perfectly with the autumnal tones and well it can’t get any better being able to bring the top down on your wedding day!
We met Laura and David earlier in the year for their engagement shoot at her parents home in Howwood when they were back on a trip from Australia. It was great getting to know them and to also see where the bridal preps would be taking place along with where the ceremony was as it took place just down the street from her childhood home. Have a look at their engagement shoot here! It was a beautiful day at the end of June.
As mentioned above the day started off in Laura’s childhood home in Howwood. From there her dad drove her up the street to the parish church in his restored electric milk float! and she has a name…Betty! LOVE IT! The bunting around the church fence was made by Laura’s mom which looked absolutely beautiful and will be such a lovely keepsake for them as well. The rest of the day took place near the seaside in Troon at the beautiful Loch Green House Hotel.
Everything was kept natural and simple throughout the day with a lot of hand made pieces which were beautiful and at the same time made it more special. It flowed beautifully with the time of year. I think you will all agree looking through these photos it was a beautiful day and absolutely made perfect for them both sharing it with their close family and friends!
Wishing you both an incredible life together and thank you for asking us to photograph your wedding day
