Sharing with you all today our first wedding at Roman Camp Hotel in Callander which we absolutely adored!! What a beautiful venue and what an equally beautiful sunny and warm day it was for Ali and Iain’s wedding.
It really is a rarity to have blue skies the whole day on your wedding day in Scotland but on this occasion just that kind of day came along for Ali and Iain’s wedding. Absolutely perfect for where Ali’s preps took place! Adore these cottages and positioned in such a beautiful part of the world just on the outskirts of Callander. It was also perfect for her dad to escape to the decking to enjoy that warm sunshine and get out of the way of bridal morning preparations indoors!
Iain got ready at Roman Camp which made for some great groom prep shots. Every corner of Roman Camp has character including the rooms. This is the exact reason why the ceremony took place indoors instead of outdoors. They both absolutely love the library which made for such a quirky ceremony setting!
Following the ceremony most of the festivities took place outside since the day was so beautiful. Guests mingled and meandered on the grounds and in the gardens. To their Australian guests who I am sure were preparing themselves for rain this must have come as quite a shock!
Ali and Iain are one of those couples who you just get along with ease. From the very beginning when they chose us to photograph their wedding day it was nothing but a pleasure to get to know them and join in on the anticipation of their big day! I know we are witnesses to a lot of couples wedding days and there are a lot of awesome couples in love (which is pretty freakin awesome!) and these two are definitely one of those couples!
We know that their life together will be an awesome adventure!
