So excited to share this GORGEOUS bridal fashion shoot at Blytheswood Square last fall. I was so incredibly honoured to be asked to photograph Natalie from Natalie Dalziel Flowers vision for this shoot.
I absolutely adored Natalie’s art deco inspiration. The venue with it’s beautiful art deco style, model styling and accessories went so perfectly with the bouquets she created for the shoot. The 1920’s was an era of classic and timeless beauty which I think we nailed! Throw in a leather jacket, chokers and Dr.Marten boots into the mix and it suddenly becomes modern and edgy for those brides who like to do things a wee bit differently.
The dresses by bridal designer Elizabeth Jane Howell from Anne Priscilla Bridal were perfect for this shoot! Ashleigh Elliot one of Anne Priscilla Bridal’s stylists and owner of My Own Design & events chose perfect pieces in order for us to rock this shoot! She also added couture pieces from Halfpenny London and Stewart Parvin, mixed with Pronovias and Watters.
The models make up and hair was done to match each look. The amount of work put into each look and also modeled by the girls was amazing! so much work and inspiration from all of these girls. Great Gatsby make up looks were by the talented Paula Kavanagh – Make up Artist. She also took inspiration from the season we shot in, Autumn time. Jacqueline McKenna from Hair Beau rocked every single hair look by keeping some true to the 1920’s while some were 1920’s with an edge which I loved!
As mentioned above the models did so amazing rocking these looks! I could not have asked for better girls to photograph. True professionals! Thank you so much to Hailey, Georgie and Anne Priscilla’s own Ashleigh!
All in all the talent in this team was incredible along with the team work which culminated in an incredible day and a successful shoot. Also how cool is that porter?!
So proud to be sharing it with you all and thankful to have been a part of it!
