A few years ago I shot this lovely wee shoot in Bearsden Glasgow. The girls dressed up and had a ball with it and I think I enjoyed it just as much even though it rained. I got down to their level though and the rain magically disappeared. Just like I was a kid again where those things did just mot phase me. I used to dance in the rain! However summer rain in Canada is much warmer than in Scotland!

It was incredible to watch these two girls play and to see their friendship dynamic. It brought me right back to when I was a little girl and the friends that I used to play with whom I still call some of my closest friends. I adore how photography does that not only to me but I’d like to think to others which my photos can capture for them. Memories are so important and to capture those memories is priceless. You just cannot put a monetary value on that. Especially something as special as this.

I found this quote on line and I wonder if it shall be fitting later down the line “”A good friend remembers what we were and sees what we can be.” I hope they dream big and share those dreams with each other and support one another in achieving them as they grow up together! Nothing beats a rock solid friendship. It really can last a lifetime and there is nothing more special then that.
