This BEAUTIFUL Bridal Shoot at Dance HQ in Glasgow is on the blog today!! The Fluid Collection.
When you get asked by a team of incredibly talented top wedding suppliers in Scotland to work with them on a collaboration it’s such an honour! Thank you so much to Natasha from Modiste and Wendy from Flossy and Dossy for asking me to be a part of such an incredible shoot.
We had such a great day working together to create beautiful photos for everyone to use for their portfolios and to show their collections. Here are a few words from Natasha herself about the collection.
“The ‘Fluid Collection’, a collaborative collection by Flossy & Dossy and
Modiste Accessories is all about the ‘flow’- free-flowing shapes in a
cool Scandinavian vibe. Paired back fluid simplicity in silhouettes with
relaxed hair and flawless effortless makeup. A truly ‘Less is more’
ethic, the shoot is styled in a minimal setting with light playing a
major role, allowing silhouettes and colour touches in makeup and hair
texture to beam out. No fuss, just a breath of fresh air.
Dresses are relaxed, easy to wear styles with light and air moving
through tulle textures in the Asta skirt and the soft drapes and
flounces of the Alina silk bias cut dress. Stitched embellishment is
delicate cascades down the body of the signature ‘Helene’ dress,
pictured with and without full-length slip. Accessories are demure with
natural references of metal leaves, flowers intertwined with mix bead
clusters and just a little touch of sparkle.
Makeup by Fiona Park is reminiscent of a colour blush to the face on a
walk in the cool fresh air, a natural glow, with loose plaits and soft
unstructured hair styling by Cameo Bridal Styling.
As mentioned above the theme for this shoot was Fluid. I hope that my photos did this justice.
