Scott and I had the pleasure of shooting a wedding in summer of 2014 which Amanda from Green Pea Studios provided the beautiful flowers for. Her bouquets and floral arrangements for Sarah and Mark’s wedding at Altskeith was out of this world. We were incredibly honoured when she asked us along to photograph her bouquets and florals the following September.

We absolutely adored walking around her garden where she grows all the flowers she uses in her arrangements. With the garden and her workshop there in the one place I think it is the ultimate experience for any bride and groom when it comes to choosing their flowers. A lovely drive to the countryside in beautiful surroundings to choose and chat about what your vision is for your wedding day. Amanda is as lovely as she is creative which is saying a lot. She creates amazing bouquets which I am positive will exceed anyones expectations. Think vintage, natural with I also would say with a rustic touch. The flowers she uses are wild which we love.

For this shoot Amanda had her beautiful daughter model for us. Amanda created 3 main bridal bouquets and looks along with a few smaller ones, florals for hair and button holes. We used the grounds of her home, garden and studio. I have to say the lighting on the day was incredible which made this shoot just that bit more exciting! which I didn’t think was possible. Having these beautiful pieces to photograph in that setting with that light topped off with cute dogs following me around…I was in absolute heaven!
