For this throw back Thursday we aren’t going too far back as it was only in March we shot this incredible styled engagement shoot in Glen Etive! Honestly the scenery and backdrops Scotland has to offer always gets us so inspired. At times I still have to pinch myself and this was one of those days! Hard to believe all of this is on our doorstep which makes us feel so fortunate and thankful, especially when the weather co-operates!
When Lynsay and Ken booked our styled engagement shoot package I was over the moon! As they are avid hikers something with mountains and rural suited them to a tee! Had an absolute ball pinning inspiration for the shoot on Pinterest with Lynsay and getting amazing suppliers involved! We had Laura Gray do Lynsay’s hair and make up, Lisa from Floral Menagerie made and incredible floral arrangement for the macrame backdrop which was made by Kirsty at Botanica Home. Suzanne Esper made some lovely sweets and a cake! plus we had Alina and Stewart from White Balloon Films along to film a short clip! I wanted to create a little picnic area in the woods for them which they actually got to enjoy which was lovely. We all took a little break then and enjoyed Suzanne’s incredible cake along with other things we had picked up for the day.
Following this amazing day of photographing these 2 we were so incredibly excited for their wedding day which actually just took place this week on Tuesday!! It certainly did not disappoint being at the incredible Lodge on Loch Goil plus they had another incredible day for weather as well. Since the evening reception took place in China Town we even had the chance to do a pit stop at Rest and be Thankful for some dramatic photos which you will have to tune into our Facebook page for in the next couple of days!! For now enjoy this set of photos!
