Tips to take advantage of the Golden Hour
It is no surprise when I say that people love those warm golden lit photographs. They bring a feeling of happiness, comfort and well being. So if we have the chance to snap some photos of our wedding couple in this magical light we will.
So how best to go about it? How should you plan your day to take advantage of this light? Read on to find out and enjoy looking through some of our favourite photos from our 2019 wedding season.
How do we take advantage of this light you ask?
Here is a list of some tips on how to be ready to jump in on the big day
- Lets plan in advance. We can split your photo session into two if the weather is looking promising on the day. This means more time with your guests in the afternoon. Best of both worlds!
- If the weather is good on the day we will let you know that it’s a go for golden hour photos. The timing on this will depend on the time of the year. Winter weddings get golden hour for their photo session automatically.
- We need to be quick. The light will change quickly and we won’t get it back.
- It’s romantic so take it all in and let the fact that you are now husband and wife sink in while you enjoy the beautiful light.
Thes two photographs are more blue hour but still beautiful nonetheless.
