April brought gorgeous blue skies and this sunny springtime wedding at 29 Glasgow fell on one of those glorious days! Such a complete turnaround from their engagement shoot 2 month’s before. These 2 together make me smile and they deserved every single minute of that sunshine for their day! Their little boy Daniel along with the sun brought an extra specialness and loads extra smiles to the day. No one was immune to this little boys charm. An absolute cutie who was happy as can be witnessing such a special moment between his mom and dad. I admit I was so glad to be taking photos from the back of the ceremony since I am pregnant, as I couldn’t help but have a little cry. The ceremony was so personal and just absolutely romantic and beautiful.
I asked Paul and Gillian a few questions…
How did Paul Propose?
“We were on holiday in New England and had taken the ferry over to Martha’s Vineyard for the day. We had originally planned to hop on a bus to the main town for lunch, but as we got off the ferry we noticed they had very cute little convertible mini’s available for hire, so we decided to make the most of the amazing weather and up our travel plans from the local bus. We (rather smugly) drove around the island for a few hours, then headed to Katama Beach on the south side of the island for a walk. It was whilst we were walking along the sand that we sat down for a minute to take in the view that Paul turned to me and asked me to marry him. It was perfect, and having lost track of time we ended up on a sunset ferry back to our hotel for the night which finished the day off perfectly”
What was the most special part of your wedding day?
“No one thing really stands out, just the whole day – being with our closest family and friends, sharing the most special day we could have dreamed of. The weather was out of this world and was just the icing on the cake!”
Loved getting to know these 2 so much and wishing them a lifetime of happiness!!
