Today on the blog I bring you a fun wedding at Dalduff farm in Scotland!!! To say I was excited to shoot at this venue is an understatement!! This prairie girl finally got to shoot a wedding in a barn!!! and what a fab day with such an amazing couple as well. We could not have asked for more. Lynda and Stewart are such a laid back couple, a lot like us so we hit it off from the beginning, which included a mutual love for Penguins as well! Apparently this was the clincher! Have a wee look at our ABOUT US section here to find out more about Scott and I. Lynda and I are both obsessed with them! Loved all the penguin touches throughout the decor. It was simple and even though they are arctic creatures somehow fit in with the barn setting! Made me smile and I always love seeing the couples personalities and who they are as couples come through on their day in the planning and organisation.
I asked them a few questions…
How did Stewart Propose?
“Stewart proposed on a 3 billion year old rock (apt for a geography geek!) on the island of Iona. We were island hopping as our summer holiday last year. Comedy of errors as he thought he’d picked a quiet beach only to come across shell pickers, father & son going out on their dinghy, old couple swimming in the freezing sea and a lady appearing from the bushes buttoning her trousers!!! Lol one we’ll never forget for sure!”

What was your favourite moment on your wedding day?
“Stewart says his favourite moment was when he caught sight of me coming down the aisle in the mirror and mine was walking back up the aisle to American authors song ‘this is going to be the best day of my life’ with all our friends and family cheering! Loved it!”
