Sharing with you all today our last wedding of 2016 and it was in the beautiful Peak District. It’s always lovely to get the chance to photograph a winter wedding so setting off on a three-day adventure before Christmas was so much fun.

We met up with Becca and Mark in October to walk around Pollok Park and snap some photos of the two of them. Have a peek at our time together here. Was great to chat, get to know them better and hear more about their upcoming wedding.

As we set off from the hotel on the day of the wedding to the wedding venue we had a chance to enjoy the countryside and what the area would have to offer up for their photo session later. The day was crisp and dry so was keeping my fingers and toes crossed for a dry photo session as the sights were beautiful! What a beautiful part of the world to have gotten married in.

We both had such a great time spending our morning with the bride and groom capturing the anticipation to the lead up to the ceremony. Seeing Becca walk down the aisle to marry Mark once made me realise how lucky we are to capture such moments.

Following the ceremony, luck was on our side weather wise and we set off into the hills which was so insanely exciting… I am sure they can still hear my squeals of excitement, ha ha. Seriously though the location was breathtaking and an absolute dream to photograph in on a wedding day. So MASSIVE thank you to you both for being up for it and suggesting this crazy good location.
