Scotland really is a beautiful place to base ourselves from as wedding photographers. We are spoiled for choice from beautiful country settings to stunning and quirky city weddings or elopements!

Today we bring you part 2 of our best of 2016. Have a peek at part 1 here. As we mentioned in part 1 these photos were chosen for various reasons which makes them stand out as being our best of the year. It’s about the moments, the settings, the light and what you can feel when you look at the photos as well.

As mentioned above we are so lucky to have the opportunity to photograph weddings in such a beautiful part of the world, but we also do weddings abroad. This year we had the opportunity to photograph two weddings in my home city of Winnipeg, Manitoba in Canada. Was such a buzz getting to shoot a city wedding using locations I know so well and now appreciate even more since I don’t call it home anymore. We also got to shoot a gorgeous farm wedding set in the prairies outside of the city which I was so excited about and it did not disappoint! More please!!

Looking through our photos and choosing a selection for this post was extremely hard. It took quite a few weeks and as we are on holiday we found it even harder! Therefore for that reason this post is on the larger than usual side but do take the time to scroll through them all. You won’t be disappointed.

We are so incredibly proud of what we have captured for yet another year of amazing couples! We hope that they will be beautiful lasting memories for them to reflect back upon year after year when their anniversary comes around.
