How do I begin with this wedding at Pollokshields Burgh Halls!! Well it was rather EPIC! and I mean EPIC! Think Autumn plus jewel tones with bags of style!!
We met Amy and Barry a while ago now (since it’s already been nearly a year since they got married oops! yes I am rather a bit behind…but I did have a baby) and got on right away which is always a huge factor for booking our couples which I love!! It’s so important. Barry din’t seem to mind that I had a really hard time saying his name correctly with my Canadian accent. We met up with them in Kelvin Grove park in the west end of Glasgow for their engagement shoot which you can have a nosy at here! We got the most incredible light and capturing how these two are together made us even more excited for the big day!
Along came the big day which we were so incredibly excited to be a part of. As I mentioned above I knew it was going to be a belter of a wedding and it was!
From the bridal preps in their incredible home, to the venue itself Pollokshields Burgh Halls which is one of our favourites (and local to us), to getting to work with one of my most favourite florists Floral Menagerie and on top of that all the insanely cool and kick ass suppliers on board; to the beautiful Autumn day and of course them! our bride and groom. Again…EPIC!!
The styling of the whole day was such a treat to photograph! Cat Robertson did such an amazing job on the girls! They looked beautiful. The details during bridal preps against the clean decor in their home was a dream. I adored the bridesmaids Chi Chi London floral dresses from ASOS finished with fur shrugs. Amy’s floral crown was so incredibly beautiful and suited her to a T. The array of personal and d.i.y decor at the venue tied it all together while they stood amongst it all looking mighty fine! I could actually go on and on touching on every suppliers part and how they contributed to making this day perfect for them. Instead I shall leave you with their photos!!
