Absolutely loved this Canadian Scottish Wedding of Melanie and Iain in Glasgow. Along with the happiness on this day which you see in the photos captured  there is also much sadness at this time. Nothing makes you realise just how important good photos are of your loved ones until they are no longer here with you.

It is with great sadness that I write this blog post about the recent passing away of Melanie’s dad. I only knew him for one day but my gosh the genuine smile on that man’s face…so kind and so full of love & pride for Melanie and his family. I adored seeing the photos Scott captured when he handed his daughter away to her husband. Priceless.

Melanie is french Canadian just like me so we hit it off right away!! Loved getting to know her. She is an absolute sweetheart and Iain is so perfect for her! I am saying this like we are longtime friends… I am so incredibly happy for them both!
