Today on the blog is this beautiful wedding which took place in Stonehaven and at Elsick House in stunning Aberdeenshire.
Hollie and Gavin had such a beautiful sunny day for their wedding! In Scotland this can be quite the rarity but I’ve heard the east coast gets more sun…although it being a wee bit chillier! Most people would opt for dry and cool over rainy though!
I started off my day with the girls at Elsick house which I have to say is such a beautiful house to photograph in. Lovely and bright with soft beautiful decor! Perfect to suit our light and airy style! Scott headed off to the boys in Stonehaven at Gavin’s family home.
The boys were nice and close for making it to the church on time to greet the guests. Upon Hollie’s arrival all guests and the groom were inside anticipating her arrival and as she walked down the aisle from the look on Gavin’s face she is his absolute world! I will never get sick of seeing a groom’s face light up when he spots his bride!
Following the ceremony everyone headed back up the road to Elsick House where the evening festivities took place. As the weather was beautiful and sunny guests were able to enjoy canapés, drinks and live music on the grounds behind the house which was such a beautiful setting!
Not only was the setting beautiful but the styling of the marquee was so incredible and unique. Hollie had a beautiful vision in mind which I am sure was even more than what she imagined in the end. Gavin even built the bar for the marquee! Impressive!!!!
All in all it was yet another amazing wedding to be a part of and we cannot thank Hollie and Gavin enough for asking us to photograph their day! Wishing you a lifetime of adventures, love and happiness!!
