We often make trips back home to Canada so this gorgeous family shoot took place in Winnipeg, Manitoba. You would think we were way out in the countryside but this wee gem of a spot in the city in Henteleff park is perfect for the backdrop I love. Wild and rustic charm and right on our doorstep as this is pretty much in my parents back yard.

This family is very special to us. My best friend Anna, her son Riley and daughter Aleksa (our nephew and niece) and her boyfriend Lee (a great friend of ours) and his children Aiden and Gracie. These people are so incredibly amazing! Not only because Anna has been in my life for a long time now but because they are such a fun loving and genuinely amazing bunch. As humans go they are part of the good bunch! I love seeing the dynamics of these 2 families coming together. I would describe it as fun for them is number one and together they seem to have a lot of it. It’s inspiring to see and I hope we can be just as fun as parents for Louie as Anna and Lee are to their kids.

We visit Canada every summer so this is something we would love to do more of… family photo shoots, couples shoots, engagement shoots, baby… We would love to get those enquiries coming in so feel free to get in touch!
