Our first wedding at the Glasgow Art Club and we loved it!! Such an amazing space with quirky decor, beautiful art pieces and lovely light! We were incredibly excited to capture Rachel and Ritchie’s wedding day and it turned out to be such a good one as well.
We started off with preps in Rachel’s parents home which was so perfect for details and capturing the goings on of the preparations. I used this time to get into my creative space which worked perfectly with what I was able to use as a backdrop while Scott headed off to the boys in the city center of Glasgow. I have to say that the fathers first look this particular time was EPIC! I mean the reaction on his face when he saw his daughter! I always make sure to plan this just like you would plan a couples first look. It’s such a special moment when a dad sees his wee girl in a wedding dress about to become a wife. It’s on my top 5 list of moments I must get best I can.
The rest of the day following on from the morning was so laid back and relaxed. The ceremony took place in the sweetest little church which had the perfect path for a confetti shot! This made me happy as confetti shots can be so fun! It rained a bit following the family photo session but by the time we got to The Glasgow Art Club the rain was on it’s way out and just in time for their photo session. Rain or shine this venue is great for photos.
Absolutely adored being there on the day and capturing it for Rachel and Ritchie! Had such a great time! I shall leave you with the photos.
