Romantic sunny winter wedding at Rowallan Castle
Romance, laughter, love, friendships and beautiful light were all in order for this EPIC November wedding at the beautiful Rowallan Castle.
You may remember Lorna and Ryan from our beautiful post on their engagement shoot on the Isle of Bute. Ryan is from Rothesay so we headed off on the boat for an awesome sunny day spent on the island and it sure did not disappoint. Have a look at their engagement shoot here.
The sun shone for them during their shoot and for their wedding day. Two special days with incredibly beautiful light. We could not have asked for anything more. In winter golden hour falls at the most perfect time, during the couples photo session so we definitely took advantage of the warm light the setting sun provided. I am in absolute love with the ethereal and romantic photos we captured for them.
Not only was the light beautiful but so was Lorna. My gosh, I absolutely adore her style. That hair to me was reminiscent of Daenerys from Game of Thrones. Absolute beauty. Ryan did not look too shabby himself in his kilt with dark tones to suit the winter tones perfectly.
Lorna and Ryan once again proved to me that staying true to who you are ensures that you get the day you dreamed of and ultimately want.
We LOVE Rowallan as you may have seen from this last post! we cannot wait to be back there again!
Also we were absolutely over the moon and utterly proud to have had this wedding featured on one of the best wedding blogs in the world, Junebug Weddings. Have a peek at it here.
