Today’s blog is some photos from a shoot we did with the loveliest two Canadians in Pollok Park! We have met so many lovely fellow Canadians through this job and it has been an absolute pleasure.
Julie and Adam are living and working in Glasgow at the moment and they met up with us at our flat in the south side of Glasgow for their shoot. We hopped into our car and headed to Crookston Castle and old 15th-century ruin. We had never been either so was fun to have a wee walk around and explore while we got to know them. We then headed over to Pollok Park one of our favourite spots for photos as it’s so pretty and really just perfect for photos. For the first time ever we crossed over the fence and into the field to get photos on the riverbed as the river was quite low. Once again Pollok Park offering up different photo opportunities despite the number of times we have shot there!
As we got to know Julie and Adam we discovered that Adam knows the town which my mom is from and a town which is very dear to my heart, Gravelbourg. His grandparents lived near and I love the idea that perhaps they had crossed paths with my gran and my late grandad (who was one of the most important people in my whole life) at one point in the distant past. These types of coincidences are so exciting and this was one which really made me smile. Aside from this, it was great to speak to fellow prairie Canadians!
I shall leave you with the photos to have a look over. Julie and Adam really are a lovely couple and we are wishing them the most amazing wedding day this upcoming July!
