What a beautiful wedding venue and what a romantic setting. Suited to our approach to wedding photography which is natural and romantic. Plus the girls got ready in Doonbrae House across the road which we would highly recommend for those gorgeous morning prep shots. Adored using the house and the grounds for detailed shots and the light was absolutely gorgeous for capturing the girls getting ready and spending time together. Also helped that even though it was an overcast day it did not rain which made for beautiful light from morning to evening.
As always question and answer time!.
What were you looking forward to the most about your wedding day?
“Laura – I was really looking forward to sharing our day with so many of our friends and family – many of which travelled from far and wide. I probably shouldn’t say this but due to nerves and the prospect of a large wedding – I wasn’t looking forward to our wedding as much as I should have been! However, once I got to the alter my nerves disappeared and I had a fantastic day and evening. Wish we could go back and do it all again!
Stuart – Seeing Laura in the wedding dress coming down the grand staircase and sharing the day with so many of our friends and family”
Where did you jet off to for your honeymoon?
“We went to France on a mini-moon. We rented a picturesque cottage in Rouffignac in the Dordogne region. Dordogne is beautiful we would love to go back – we did lots of sightseeing, drank wine and relaxed!”
