So excited to share this gorgeous wedding at Boswells Coach House in Ayrshire. You may recognise Laura from the Lochside House Hotel in New Cumnock. We felt so honoured she chose us to photograph her wedding day as she works with so many photographers throughout the year. We had worked with Laura before so she knew how we worked on a wedding day so it was definitely a massive compliment when they went ahead and booked us for their day. We got to know her a little more along with Greig and their dog during their engagement shoot at Dundonald Castle. Have a wee peak at it here. It was such a gorgeous autumn day for a shoot.
The day itself was a typical Scottish day; rain, overcast with some sunny spells. I don’t mind this sort of day as you can get some really beautiful light. The day was split between Western House Hotel and Boswells Coach House to which they got there and back in a Volkswagen beetle and camper van for the bridal party. Have to say last years camper vans were tough for me to climb into pregnant haha! Both venues were decorated so beautifully. No detail was spared in the look of the day and things for guests to enjoy like an Ice Cream cart, personalised cocktails, a pipe band, magician and more… It comes to no surprise since she is such a fabulous wedding coordinator.
I shall leave you to look through their day. Suppliers are listed at the end of the post.
Enjoy!
