A beautiful city wedding at the Waldorf Astoria in Edinburgh.
Who doesn’t love an Edinburgh city wedding? it’s such a beautifully vibrant and cultural city. Even when it rains, which it did! However, you really can’t say it’s a proper Scottish wedding until it does right?
Gaynor and Jordan, of Blushbooth – the photobooth company, got engaged in New York and immediately wanted this to follow through into the theme of their wedding. With it’s classic and stylish notes it did not disappoint in achieving this goal.
They originally did have thoughts of getting married abroad in Tuscany. However, the Waldorf Astoria was the perfect place to bring their vision together and with wishes of keeping their wedding close to home, it really was the perfect spot!

It’s always such a tough decision for those who sway between both. Ask yourself what is the most important thing that you will take away from your day? If it’s being surrounded by family and friends then perhaps a wedding abroad is just not the best idea after all. Gaynor and Jordan wanted to be surrounded by family and friends so this made their decision on having it close to home. They also tied in their love for Italian food into the day with the wedding breakfast. Another great idea!
Regardless, always make sure to stay true to your heart which is what these two did!
