Couple elope from Ireland to Glasgow in this romantic and sunny city elopement!
Treasa and Robert have now been officially married for a week now! Congrats guys! We could not have been more honoured or happier to have spent a few hours with you all capturing these photos.
This story goes back a year or so when I captured some maternity photos of Treasa’s twin sister Ciara (have a peek at them here). I was so happy when Treasa got in touch with us through seeing those photos and other city elopements we have captured. We loved being in on the secret wedding, helping with anything and getting involved in the excitement of it all leading up to the day. We also adored catching up with Ciara and Brian again and meeting adorable little Samüéil. I just couldn’t get enough of that smile!
When the wedding day did come around last week we could not believe how lucky we got with the weather as thunderstorms were looming around us and in the forecast BUT we avoided it all.
We met up with Treasa and Ciara at Ciara and Brian’s flat in Denistoun where I Chantal spent time with the girl getting ready. I adored being able to use the beautiful tenement flat and the stairwell for some pre-ceremony shots and bridal portraits. Nothing quite beats a tenement flat for amazing light and they have so much charm. Once we caught up with the boys at Montrose street for the ceremony and Treasa walked down that aisle to meet Robert it was clear to us right away just how in love they are which never EVER gets old to see and capture. Along with being head over heels in love they are such a happy and fun loving couple. We had such a great time walking around Merchant city and Glasgow Green snapping some shots, including stopping for an ice cream cone!
