Happy Tuesday everyone! We have a beautiful Jewish wedding in the south side of Glasgow on the blog today. This wedding was filled with beautiful moments between a mother, father and daughter who became a wee official unit!
Emily and Anthony’s day was absolutely perfect! and having planned it all the way from Australia I was very impressed. The ceremony took place at the Giffnock Synagogue and then followed onto Pollokshields Burgh Halls for the rest of the festivities.
Anthony is actually one of my best friends Nick’s older brother. I know the Cohen’s well and I can honestly say they are one of the most beautiful families I have ever had the pleasure to know. Being away from home they have often even felt like family to me! They are kind, happy and such happy people and Emily is incredibly lucky to have married into such a beautiful family!
This was our first Jewish wedding and we enjoyed being a part of it all. We adore this about weddings; being able to see different traditions and religions on how they interpret marriage is beautiful and an honour to capture. Here is a great article on all the steps and traditions on how a Jewish wedding unfolds.
Needless to say a Jewish wedding is one big happy party!! and the dancing! well that is pretty impressive and amazing to witness. It is pretty wild so I am surprised that it was only a leg of a chair which got injured!
On behalf of Scott and I we are wishing you a lifetime of happiness and joy as husband and wife and parents to the lovely wee Mia! Lucky you enjoying it in Australia!
