Stylish and Elegant autumnal wedding at Dumfries House
Where do I begin with this wedding…the same as every other blog I write; what a BEAUTIFUL day. We feel so blessed and fortunate to call this a job. We get to meet such wonderful couples, learn about their story and get an insight into their world from preparations to the day itself. How amazing is that? honoured every single time someone books us.
Alison and Christopher live down in England but are from Ayrshire so this choice for a venue was extremely important to them. In addition to this their beach engagement shoot was on their checklist as well which we managed to swing. We didn’t get that amazing sunset but we had a dry evening with some colours in the sky. On the wedding day itself, they got lucky weather wise and ended up with a beautiful temperate day. It started off with sun and blue skies with clouds that rolled in just in time for their photo session. We like cloud cover!
Alison works for Paul Smith so as we assumed this day was going to be rather stylish which it was with everything carefully thought out from the handmade stylish veil to the complimenting kilt with their colour theme and design of stationary. Styling on pointe if I must say so myself!
Finally, we do hope that Mr & Mrs Dunsmuir have the most wonderful life together! Wishing them much happiness and joy.
