What about the shoes, the dress, the flowers & the rings…?
Well, this is one of our favourite things to capture as it adds to the whole story of your wedding day. These things were carefully picked and designed and styled for your wedding day so capturing those details is high on our list of what we capture during a wedding.
Using photos from last years weddings ( 2019 ) I’ll be sharing a few top tips here and there but here is a full post which I wrote a couple of years ago which is full of amazing information. Have a look at it here.
Everything you have planned on the run up to your wedding including the venue itself is worthy of being photographed in our eyes. These photographs are forever going to bring you right back to your big day. These photographs will be shown to some who may not have been there so it’s definitely an important element of building a whole story.
How can I get the best out of having these details captured?
Anything that you would like to have captured is best left somewhere together for us. This way we will not miss anything and we can get creative as soon as we arrive. We always find that this sets us up for the day creativity wise.
What kind of items are we talking about here?
- The wedding dress
- Shoes
- Jewellery
- Perfume
- Keepsakes
- Rings
- Stationary ( we love capturing this so why not bring along the set you kept for yourself or an extra one )
- Flowers
- Wedding bouquet
- Bridesmaids dresses
- Flower girl dresses
- Kilt/suit
- Any accessories like watch/cufflinks
- Buttonholes

We like to bring along bits and pieces to add to the photos so if you have a particular colour scheme let us know!
