A freezing cold but beautiful wedding at Loch Green House Hotel.
Lyndsay and Guy married on a sunny but bitterly cold day. The wind blasted the venue from the east the whole day which made it hard to escape. However, the light was absolutely perfect and it certainly did not put a damper on their day. It was rather warm and cosy inside which provided the perfect respite from the elements.
They were surrounded by their closest family and friends to celebrate in the day. Guest of honour was most certainly their beautiful son Jude who is such a huge testament to them both. Such a sweet, well-behaved boy who was well chuffed with handing the wedding rings over to his parents. He even exclaimed that “it wasn’t as hard as he thought” when he sat back down, making everyone giggle and adding to that bank of special memories of the day.
It’s such a joy to witness such beautiful families coming together to form a tight family unit!
We can’t thank you enough for asking us to be a part of it all!
What do you do if it’s freezing cold and blowing a gale on your wedding day?
Just go with it! You can’t change the weather. Channel somewhere tropical, suck it up and get those photos done. You won’t regret it.
Lyndsay and Guy were absolutely freezing during their photo session but you wouldn’t think it for one second! They rocked it and it was well worth it. They knew that this was the one and only chance to get those photos. You can’t catch a cold from being cold and don’t worry we won’t have you out there for ages either. There is only so much we can put you through without being cruel!
We will also make sure we find a wee corner of the venue which is hidden from the wind and not as cold for those bridal party shots and family formals…if it’s possible of course.
