Posting this beauty of a seaside wedding in at The Waterside in West Kilbride today.
Rain? what rain?! Don’t ever let it dictate how happy you are on the day. Elaine and Lewis sure didn’t let it bother them and it is how it should be.
We were excited to catch up with these two after hanging out with them during their engagement shoot which you can check out here. We have known them for a few years now as we have photographed some of their friend’s weddings in the past so it really has been such a great journey getting to know them all! We always love bumping into familiar faces at a wedding. It’s also such a great compliment to be asked.
Getting down to the day itself… I always try and ingrain into my head three things I absolutely love about a wedding day as every wedding is special in it’s own way. Seems obvious that I would do this and almost cheesy in saying so but it makes what we do so much more memorable and worth it. Capturing memories is not something we take lightly and we also want to have fun in taking part in other peoples memories.
Here are three things we loved about their wedding day
- The relationship between Elaine and her dad. She is clearly a daddy’s girl which we captured in a few photos especially just before walking down the aisle.
- How utterly taken Lewis was when he saw his bride walking down the Aisle. We love a good groom reaction.
- How carefree and laid-back Elaine is. She took her shoes off and went bare feet on the beach for those evening shots.
